We saw so much of Kuala Lumpur on this exhilarating tour that we would never have seen otherwise, including Chinatown, Little India, Independence Square and many others. We had some wonderful food at various locations especially enjoying the mutton soup in the Hawkers market and the masala tea in Little India. This tour is an absolute must. Kalvin and Zag took my wife Catherine and I on an exhilarating tour on the back of their vespas in the evening. They took us.to places we’d never have found on our own and introduced us to several culinary delights at various different areas in the city. We experienced all the different cultures and saw some fantastic scenery. This is an evening we will remember for a very long time - probably the best guided tour I’ve ever been on. We spent the morning exploring the city’s hidden gems by bike—a fantastic way to see the architecture and local life, combining the moderm and the heritage part of the city. The highlight, however, was our evening with Lili and her mum. Learning about Peranakan culture through their family recipes was an unforgettable experience. The food was authentic and delicious, but the company was even better. It’s a must-do for families looking for a deep cultural connection. Highly recommended! I joined the KL Street Food Adventure Tour by Vespalicious and it was absolutely fantastic from start to finish. We explored some of Kuala Lumpur’s most iconic local spots like Chow Kit Market, Kampung Baru, and Heritage Row, each filled with its own charm, history, and mouthwatering food. The food selection was incredible. We got to sample cendol, apom balik, nasi lemak, keropok lekor, and so many other local favourites. Every stop felt authentic, well-curated, and delicious (definitely the kind of food you’d struggle to discover on your own). A special shoutout to our guide, Munir, who was amazing, passionate, and extremely knowledgeable. He shared stories, cultural insights, and fun facts that made the whole experience even more meaningful. His energy really elevated the tour. I’ve done the Vespalicious Cooler Lumpur by Night Vespa Street Food tour a few years back and loved it, and I’m happy to say this Street Food Adventure was just as great. They made us feel safe the entire time while navigating the lively traffic of Kuala Lumpur like true pros. The tour was the perfect mix of culture, local food, and hidden spots you would never find on your own. We explored different parts of the city including Chinatown, Little India, and the Malay old town, and tasted a great variety of local dishes along the way – from Chinese street food to delicious rotis and the famous Nasi Lemak. Everything was well organized and very authentic. Seeing the city from the back of a Vespa at night made the experience even more special. It’s such a fun and unique way to discover Kuala Lumpur! Above and beyond the usual things like punctuality, organization, good communication, tour structure, etc. but more importantly I felt absolutely secure and in good hands (I'm a rider so I can verify). The vespa ride was thrilling. The food (Chinese, India, and Malay) was all delicious. We also stopped at a hidden bar (aka speakeasy) where I could have stayed all night it was so cool. Between our food stops, Das took me on a mini-sightseeing trip that was amazing, especially at night. Highly, highly recommend! Being driven around Kuala Lumpur on the back of a Vesper was so cool!! You get to see so much in 4 hours. Dass my tour guide was very informative and told me about the various foods I had. It wasn’t only food stops but some sightseeing as well for photos opportunities, which is good so that you can digest the food before the next stop! The food I had was - Chinese food: Hakka noodles / Char keow teow / Dim sum / Fresh sugar cane Indian food: Fried Idli / Roti Tissue / Samosa / Roti canai / Fresh orange juice Malay food: Nasi lemak / Chicken sambal / Beef rendang / Bergedil Go hungry!! I only had breakfast and by the end of the tour I couldn’t eat anything else hehe. I would 100% recommend the tour to everyone, the price is totally worth it! All the communications before the tour were excellent. I was contacted upon booking to confirm the tour and pick up location. Then the day before Dass the Tour Guide contacted me with all the final details of pick up. He arrived on time at the hotel. Again amazing tour and great experience! Don’t leave KL without doing this tour!
